Pacug Health Resort Centre

pacug-virtualniThe Pacug Health Resort Centre is situated nearby the Adriatic Sea amidst the Strunjan Nature Park, renowned for its beneficent climate and exquisite vistas. The Centre’s terrace offers a view of the entire northern section of the Gulf of Piran backed by Koper and Trieste and reaches even as far as Triglav, the tallest mountain in Slovenia when the weather is favourable. What is more, the Park is also renowned by the highest flysch cliff (80 metres) in the Adriatic region.

dom-pacug 2The construction of the Pacug Health Resort Centre, which is already partially utilised in the execution of programmes concerned with the maintenance of health, family vacationing and follow-up rehabilitation of Slovene paraplegics and quadriplegics has not yet been finalised. What is missing is another residential building with interiors.
dom-pacug 4Nonetheless, various activities by the Slovenian Paraplegic Association and regional associations have been carried out at the location since 2006. 2012 also saw the introduction of follow-up rehabilitation during the summer months while regional associations have been bringing in guests on single-day visits. The resort boasts a large sea water pool and complete catering services. Close by, the coastal cities of Slovenia are situated - Portorož, Piran, Izola and Koper. After its completion, Pacug Resort will be more than suitable for foreign tourists with disabilities.
